Please join us for our introductory talk on digital forensics, questioned documents, and forensic imagery. This will include:

• Digital forensics: limitations of deleted data recovery, incorrect processes, and best evidence for an investigation;

• Questioned documents: the oldest forensic discipline, that of, signature and handwriting authentication, detecting tampered or forged documents, techniques available, and what to look out for with physical or electronic documents; and

• Forensic imagery: video evidence and how it can mislead through recording techniques and malicious actions.

Open to all YPN members, this is aimed to give insight into some of the forensic techniques available to support investigations and litigation. Our talk will be followed by drinks and nibbles.
